Description:
Responsibilities include all selling activity to clients of a specific hotel as it relates to their audiovisual events. This includes participation in soliciting new business for VAE through consultative sales, by obtaining definite bookings from hotel, creating professional bids and proposals, and attending client site visits. Sales Manager will also provide operational support to the Audiovisual Director and the rest of the staff. Must have 1-2 years demonstrated sales experience/success in an AV/hospitality-related environment, exceptional communication and customer service skills, working knowledge of AV equipment, good computer skills, polished appearance and embodiment of attributes of a consummate professional. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree, medium to large hotel experience, moderately aggressive sales approach and clean driving record.
